Power Finance Corporation Limited has informed that Manoj Sharma has assumed the position of Director (Commercial) on the Board of Directors of the company.
His appointment is in accordance with the order of the Ministry of Energy of the Government of India.
Manoj’s appointment is effective as of August 29, 2022.
Shri Manoj Sharma, 56, is a chartered accountant and holds a law degree (LLB). He joined PFC in 1990 as Executive Director (Head) of the Commercial Division before becoming Director (Commercial) of PFC.
Manoj has nearly 30 years of expertise in the electrical industry. He has worked in a variety of fields and areas at PFC including Institutional Assessment and Development, Entity Valuation, Law and Documentation, Tax, Budget, Audit, Statement Preparation financial and audit reports, financial analysis, resource mobilization, debt syndication and advisory missions on financial/commercial aspects of the electricity sector.
In addition, he was also Chairman of PFC Projects Limited and Jharkhand Infrapower Limited.
At around 11:11 a.m., Power Finance Corporation was trading at Rs119.75 up 1.01% from its previous close of Rs118.55 on BSE. The certificate opened at Rs119.85 and hit the intraday high and low of Rs120.10 and Rs119 respectively.
